Jim Horn is to be lauded and thanked for writing the truth about Islam - and he knows the truth. It is my hope that this book is circulated around the world, and makes it to the desk in the Oval Office. Starting there, more needs to be done to protect everyone in the world from the horror of Islamic control. This book is a wake up call. Women of the world, we must spread the word. No woman, Muslim or otherwise, wants to be a Muslim wife and bear daughters to be mutilated and controlled. Muslim women have no freedom. This book explains how male dominated Muslim society controls women.Mr Horn explains how Muslims are expanding their religion and their teaching in schools right here in the United States. They have an agenda and it is world domination - they will not stop until it is a Muslim world - unless freedom loving people all over the world realize it and do something to stop them. Let us hope Mr. Horn's book is read and heeded. If you are one who believes that Islam is a peaceful religion, I beseech you to read this book and learn the truth about Islam.

Having had the opportunity to hear the author on several occasions, I bought the book with the intent to run through it at a glance. Instead, I read every word! I strongly suggest we all take time to read this very real, very personal account of Mr. Horn's. To be informed is to enable each of us to be educated concerning the motivations of those who seem determined to do violence to those that don't adhere to violence. Truth and reality can be tough to take. Mr. Horn and his toughness, shown in this book, are evidence of his deep love for his country. It's a book you will be glad you read!
The late Samuel P. Huntington in his best selling book "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of the World Order" hypothesized that with the end of the Cold War, future conflicts would be between peoples of differing cultural patterns and religions. Although this is a simplification of a much more nuanced thesis it serves the point here.
This book is based on Huntington's hypothesis. It reflects Horn's passionate belief that Islam manifested by a worldwide Fundamentalist Islamic Movement is a clear and present danger to Western Civilization. He believes that Islamic terrorism is a central part of this movement and is directed specifically towards the U.S. and its citizens. Horn identifies Saudi Arabia as the principal source of financing for this movement. He believes that all predominantly Islamic countries support the movement and its terrorist aims. Horn makes some rather half-hearted attempts to separate moderate Muslims from the extremists, but clearly believes most Muslims are extremists at heart.
Horn also is pro-Israel and argues that Israel is the one country we can trust if it comes to war between the U.S. and Islam. Not surprisingly he is deeply suspicious of the UN and considers the European members of NATO unreliable at best. Horn also uses the book to take some shots at CIA, the FBI and the National Security Establishment in general. Horn spent thirty years as an officer, including a stint as a counter-terrorism officer, for the Department of State and has some interesting things to say about the various locals where he was stationed. For the most part however this book is focused on the threat of Islamic inspired terrorism and the general evils of Islam.
In short this is an angry book in which its author lets fly at a number of events and occurrences that have annoyed or frustrated him over the years. It is also in serious need of an editor to organize it more coherently and fix minor, but jarring, errors (e.g. the Department of Homeland Security is first introduced as the "Department of Homeland Defense"). Also it can be seriously doubted if anyone under forty is going to recognize the books title "Di Di Daw Daw Di Di" as Morse Code and it does not convey the focus of the book. The reader does not have to agree with Horn's comments and observations, but should recognize their sincerity and Horn's integrity.
But I really had no choice. This is a no-nonsense discourse on Islam that should be required reading for everyone in the federal government. While some of the book has been edited by the CIA, it still contains a great deal of information that you will not find anywhere else. The author has a wealth of experience living in Islamic countries during many years of service stationed at various American Embassies. Even in "moderate," Islamic countries like Turkey there is a defining undercurrent of thought that is diametrically opposed to fundamental American Values of freedom, independent thought and liberty. If you are looking for a politically correct, "can't we all just get along," approach, you wont find it here. This is the unvarnished truth about the philosophical battle that will define the future course of history. It is thoroughly compelling reading.
Simply just tells it how it is....which means people will be offended. The book itself is clear and honest.
If you truly want to be informed then this is a must read. I would highly recommend this to a friend.
This is a must read. Don't bother if you are a politically correct sympathizer. If you can handle reality and want to know the truth about the vicious animal that has its sights set on destroying our entire way of life, buy it. It is very sobering. We need to act now and protect our future.
Information from a knowledgeable source. Not controlled by some government that has their own agenda. I think it is a wakeup call and must read for everyone including law enforcewment and the military.
