Very cute story, told from the perspective of Milo, who came to his beautiful family through surrogacy. I hope we keep finding more books about diverse families for kids!
I thought this would be an actual retelling of their journey. Not a watered down children's book.
One of the best books out there about same-sex parenting, the different types of family there are, and most importantly, LOVE! Simple, yet well written, with pictures that are perfect, my 2.5 year old was intrigued and engaged with it and made me read it (literally) two more times after the first.
This product is a book geared towards children, families,but , I think towards humanity in general. The book reads just enough to teach without being pushed upon you. At a time of so much hatred, this book leans itself to a side where love and family are prevalent and so very important.
I received Milo's Adventures today , when my kids come from school and saw the book first thing they did is sat on the sofa and read the book they loved it and me too it is very nicely wrote with simple words that way the kids can understand everything love the beautiful story about this lovely family congratulations and thank for sharing your story with us <3 <3 <3 <3 .
