Penned by her father Eric Boughman, Emma Journey from Here to Heaven is a story that takes readers from the day of the accident into present day. It is a story that celebrates Emma’s life and shines a spotlight on God’s goodness and grace. But it’s also a story that gives an honest depiction of what “bad days” are like in the aftermath—the days when they’re angry and wonder why it had to be them, the days when the pain feels unbearable, the days when they have been ready to end it all.

Like others posted here I know a relative of the author. Good book especially for anyone dealing with a loss. I could relate to some of the things he spoke about in the book. I understand this is his first book and he did a good job writing this story.Product details

Awesome book with heart felt truth. The loss of a child is unimaginable. Please get right with God so you may see your loved one some day!!!
I live in the same area as this family and was sad when they lost this precious Angel. This book took us through those first days of their grief. What a testament to their faith that they have turned this tragedy into God`s glory.
A father's anguish at losing his little girl so tragically, who manages to turn such a tragedy into an awesome testimony to God and His love and grace, is truly amazing. Every word is obviously written straight from the author's heart - once I began reading I couldn't put it down.
Thank you for sharing your writing with the world. Emma, butterflies, God, heaven, smiles...... This book brought me to tears but also reminded me of how important it is to have a close personal relationship with God. You and your family are a symbol of HOPE.
I'm a very close friend with Kim's sister Cindy and know Kim's family. I didn't know Emma personally but reading this book gave me an insight to the special little girl she was to everyone that did know her. It's hard to understand why God chooses to take home some of the youngest among us, but knowing she is in the arms of Jesus makes it more bearable. A great read for anyone that has lost a child. May God continue to bless this family with healing.

I gave this book a 5 star rating, because it blessed my heart to get to know Emma, even though we live in the small town of Liberty SC, I had never met her I had seen her Daddy at Ingles and when I heard of this terrible tragedy, and my heart broke for her family. But reading this story about her short but precious life, really makes me feel as though I did know and love her. My prayer is that through this book many, many lives will be changed.
